is looking for two driven and experienced leaders to join our teams at our Whyte Ave and Brewery District location. We're searching for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments; leads by example and brings out the best in others.

As an

Assistant Store Manager

, you'll play a key role in shaping the shop's daily energy; supporting your team; and ensuring every guest leaves with an unforgettable experience.

What You'll Do

Lead and motivate your team to deliver the warm, memorable experience our guests expect. Support the Store Manager with scheduling, payroll approvals, and daily operations. Train and develop new and existing team members through consistent coaching and feedback. Handle shift coverage, conflict resolution, and performance check-ins. Maintain high standards for cleanliness, organization, and food safety. Manage inventory counts, ordering, and product organization. Ensure accuracy in cash handling, POS operations, and reporting. Oversee the shop when the Store Manager is away. Create a positive, fun, and inclusive environment that reflects the Made By Marcus brand.

Who You Are

You're confident leading a team on the floor and are happy to scoop alongside them. You communicate clearly and can handle challenges with composure and professionalism. You're adaptable, organized, and quick to problem-solve. You know how to delegate and develop others. You love ice cream, people, and building community.

Requirements

Previous leadership experience in retail or food service. Strong customer service and sales skills. Proven ability to manage time and multitask. Must have

open availability

throughout the week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Willingness to support shift coverage and work additional hours when needed. Comfortable working full-time with some overtime or last-minute coverage as required.
