About the Role

We are seeking an Assistant Site Superintendent to join our team in the Lower Mainland of BC (head office located in Surrey).

Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage subcontractors and construction crews to ensure work is performed efficiently and according to plans. Perform technical review to ensure trade work meets a high standard. Perform quality control checks throughout the construction process Document and have any deficiencies rectified in a timely manner Work with Project Manager and Site Superintendent to ensure schedule and budget are met Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to coordinate activities accurately. Familiarity with construction contracts and managing multiple subcontractors simultaneously.

About You

5+ years of experience in the construction industry. Experience on active construction sites with a focus on multifamily woodframe development Creative problem solver & cost conscious Strong and fast decision maker Good communication skills Excellent organizational and scheduling skills Team player Able to read blueprints and drawings. Competent with Outlook, Excel, Word Leadership experience
