We are a Toronto production company who produces award-winning television. We are seeking to expand our successful team for the new 13-episode season of our established scripted comedy Television series and are looking for

a NON-UNION Assistant Showrunner

.

MUST BE:

Non-Union

Ontario resident for the past two years

Canadian citizen

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workplace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) Leader with strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities:

Working directly under executive producer and showrunner Assisting in leading writers rooms and communicating showrunner's notes Creating, writing and recording creative notes and transforming into scripts Transcribing dialogue for retro scripting on-set during rehearsals and shoots Assisting showrunner in tasking and managing creative team (writers and story producers) Creating and reviewing pitches Arcing storylines Preparing paper edits and working with editors (AVID) Completing tasks on budget

Assets:

Experience in writers rooms Comedy and Improv experience Experience with both scripted and unscripted G Driver's License
Rate based on experience.

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Pay: $18.00-$28.00 per hour
