Job Description


Speedy Auto Repair in North West Edmonton is looking for an Assistant Service Manager to join our busy Auto repair facility. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Assistant Service Manager is responsible for providing leadership and support to the our facility. Responsibilities*

  • Ensure compliance of all Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) regulations, as well as the Company?s Health and Safety Policy.
  • Assist with overall leadership, motivation, development, and supervision for all service department employees.
  • Focus and achieve a high level of customer service, leading to a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in setting monthly and annual service volume forecasts and lead the department with goal to consistently improve profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Help schedule work hours to ensure efficient operation of the service department as per current operating hours.
  • Maintain good working relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Ensure that all reporting employees adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Assist with administration of parts ordering, repair order creation and invoicing.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent. College or post-secondary education is preferred.
  • Minimum five years combined experience in the automotive industry.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; outgoing, positive and self-motivated.
  • Sound decision making, problem solving and time management skills.
  • Competency in the following areas required; customer service and administrative skills, team building, proficiency with software and computers.
  • Criminal Record Check.
  • Valid driver?s license and Drivers Abstract.
