Our team
The Governance Office in the Executive and Legal Services (ELS) Department contributes to the development, growth or delivery of corporate strategies, policies, programs and services. This team supports Bank senior management by ensuring the effective functioning of the operations of the Bank\'s governing bodies, including its Board of Directors and corporate governance committees.
What you will do
Reporting to the Senior Assistant Secretary, you will be working in close collaboration with other members of the Governance Office team. As the Assistant Secretary, you provide integrated and professional secretariat and governance services to the Board of Directors, the Bank\'s senior management and the Fellowship Program. You coordinate the integration of all the services provided by the Governance Office to ensure the cohesive and efficient functioning of the team. You are also responsible for overseeing the work of other members of the team and providing backup support to the Senior Assistant Secretary. You provide the overall coordination of activities for matters related to the Board, its committees and other executive level responsibilities including working cohesively with Bank departments to provide excellent service.
As a subject matter expert, you provide advice and guidance to colleagues, Bank management, and external contacts to ensure appropriate corporate governance practices are in place and understood.
