Job Summary


The Assistant Safety Manager is responsible for assisting the Safety Manager in all logistics compliance matters and HR administration

Responsibilities



Assist in maintain compliance with the programs, and operating requirements of the Canada Border Services Agency and the US Customs and Border Protection. Assist in reviewing and analyzing accident reports, conducting interviews and investigations. Assist with Accident Files management. Assist in conducting employee interviews. Assist in the completion and filing of all regulatory reports. Assist the Safety Manager with all HR matters and policy application. Other duties assigned by the Safety Manager.

Qualifications



Good working knowledge of the transportation industry. Good working knowledge of transportation regulatory reporting requirements. Understanding of HR administration. Excellent communication skills with the ability to train and motivate staff.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,634.37-$122,397.58 per year
