We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Retail Assistant Manager to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of our services, delivering exceptional customer service, and leading sales initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive retail management experience, and excellent communication abilities. The Retail Assistant Manager will oversee daily store operations, manage staff, and contribute to strategic planning to drive sales growth and enhance customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities



Lead and supervise store staff, including recruiting, training, and developing team members to achieve performance goals. Manage daily store operations, including merchandising, pricing, inventory purchasing, and stock management. Oversee sales activities, implement marketing strategies, and ensure achievement of sales targets. Handle customer service issues with professionalism, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. Manage cash handling procedures, cashiering duties, and POS transactions accurately. Develop and execute plans to optimize service delivery. Monitor store budget, control expenses, and assist with payroll processing. Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate policies, expectations, and updates. Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations. Utilize organizational skills to maintain an orderly store environment and efficient workflow. Engage in pricing strategies and promotional activities to maximize sales opportunities. Perform administrative tasks such as record keeping, and reporting.

Experience



Proven supervisory or managerial experience in retail sales or store management is required. Strong knowledge of retail operations including merchandising, POS systems, purchasing, and inventory control. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team. Excellent communication skills. Experience in marketing, sales management, budgeting, and training & development is preferred. Proficiency in cash handling, math skills for financial accuracy, and phone etiquette is essential. Organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Administrative experience including recruiting, interviewing candidates, payroll processing, and record keeping is desirable.
