We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the daily operations of our bustling restaurant. Responsibilities
Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, including staff scheduling and workflow management
Supervise and motivate team members to ensure high standards of food preparation, service, and customer satisfaction
Oversee food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation procedures to comply with health regulations
Manage POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling accurately
Participate in interviewing, hiring, and training new staff members to build a competent team
Ensure proper food preparation, cooking, and presentation consistent with restaurant standards
Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to enhance guest experience
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed
Enforce compliance with food safety regulations and company policies
Support kitchen staff with food industry best practices, including food safety and food handling procedures
Qualifications
Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within the food service or hospitality industry
Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS and cash handling procedures
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively
Experience in interviewing, training, and developing staff members
Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Previous experience in hotel or barista roles is a plus but not required
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
