Job Summary

Selene Aegean Bistro is looking for a dedicated front of house professional to join our service team!

Opened in late 2024 in the Hasting Sunrise neighborhood, Selene is part of the growing Gaia House hospitality group including our Michelin Guide recommend sister restaurant Nammos Estiatorio. We offer modern Greek food with an Aegean influence in a lively environment.

Applicants should have previous experience in a fast-paced environment, a solid knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, and great attention to detail. Strong wine knowledge is an asset.

Duties

Assist the General Manager in daily operations, including staffing, scheduling, and inventory management. Train, supervise, and mentor front-of-house staff to ensure exceptional service and performance. Minimum 2 years of experience in similar role/establishment is required. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints with professionalism and a solution-oriented approach. Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement marketing strategies to boost sales. Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential for success in this role. Candidates must foster a positive work environment through effective communication and teamwork.
