We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic team. Duties
Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth service and high standards of quality.
Supervise staff including interviewing, training, and managing team members to foster a positive work environment.
Ensure food preparation and cooking meet safety and quality standards; oversee food handling procedures.
Manage customer service interactions to ensure guest satisfaction and resolve any issues promptly.
Oversee cash handling, POS transactions, and accurate record-keeping using Square POS or similar systems.
Coordinate food service activities, including serving guests and maintaining efficient kitchen operations.
Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in the restaurant.
Support team management by scheduling shifts, monitoring performance, and providing leadership during peak hours.
Qualifications
Proven experience in food service or restaurant management; supervisory experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety regulations.
Familiarity with POS systems such as Square POS or similar platforms.
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence.
Leadership abilities with experience in team management, interviewing, and staff development.
Background in bartending, liquor purchase, and the food industry is highly desirable.
Previous bartending experience is a plus.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
