Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to lead our team at The Zesty Lemon. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the food industry, possess strong leadership skills, and have a proven track record of success in a managerial role. As the Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving business growth.

Responsibilities:

Lead and motivate a team of employees to deliver excellent customer service and maintain high standards of food quality and cleanliness. Create and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and maximize profitability. Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders. Train and mentor staff members to enhance their skills and performance. Manage inventory levels and control costs to optimize efficiency and profitability. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies. Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and timely manner. Work closely with the owner to develop and execute marketing initiatives and promotional activities.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a similar role within the food service industry is preferred. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, and weekends or as best suited for the business at the time. Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and point-of-sale systems. A passion for food and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences. Hands-on experience in food preparation and kitchen operations is required.
