We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the daily operations of our bustling restaurant. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in food service, restaurant management, and team leadership. The Assistant Manager will assist in overseeing staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining food safety standards, and supporting overall restaurant performance. Duties
Assist in supervising daily restaurant operations, including food preparation and service
Support team management by mentoring staff, conducting interviews, and facilitating training sessions
Oversee food handling procedures to ensure compliance with safety standards and food safety regulations
Manage POS systems such as Micros POS for accurate cash handling and transaction processing
Ensure high levels of customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally
Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and timely delivery of orders
Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness standards
Lead by example in hospitality, serving guests when needed and maintaining a welcoming environment
Support the implementation of restaurant policies and procedures to optimize operational efficiency
Requirements
Proven experience in food service, restaurant management, or hospitality roles; supervising experience preferred
Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS; cash handling experience required
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively and motivate staff
Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanor
Experience in interviewing, hiring, and training new team members
Background in hotel or barista service is a plus but not required
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments
