Responsibilities
Assist the Restaurant Manager in supervising daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures.
Lead and motivate a diverse team of servers, cooks, and support staff to deliver outstanding food service and customer care.
Oversee food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety standards, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation practices.
Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing, cash handling, and transaction reconciliation.
Control inventory levels through regular stock checks, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs.
Supervise kitchen activities, ensuring efficient food production, timely service, and quality control across all menu items.
Train new staff members on service protocols, food safety regulations, and operational procedures to foster a skilled and compliant team.
Handle shift management duties including scheduling staff shifts, monitoring performance, resolving customer issues promptly, and maintaining a positive work environment.
Support catering events, banquets, or special functions by coordinating food preparation and service logistics.
Participate in interviewing potential candidates to build a talented team aligned with our hospitality standards.
Uphold restaurant policies related to health codes, safety regulations, and cleanliness standards at all times.
Qualifications
Proven experience in food service management or supervisory roles within quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining establishments.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary processes, and kitchen operations with fine dining or hotel experience preferred.
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transaction processing.
Demonstrated ability in inventory control, budgeting, and food cost management.
Excellent leadership skills with experience in staff training & development, team management, and supervising diverse teams.
Solid understanding of food safety standards and regulations; certifications such as ServSafe are advantageous.
Exceptional customer service skills with a proactive approach to resolving guest concerns promptly.
Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Experience with catering or banquet event coordination is a plus.
