We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities

Assist in managing daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth functioning and high-quality service. Supervise and train staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and customer service best practices. Oversee cash handling procedures and ensure accurate reporting of sales using the POS system. Maintain food safety standards and ensure compliance with health regulations. Support the hiring process by conducting interviews and training new employees. Foster a positive work environment through effective team management and leadership. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues to enhance guest satisfaction. Collaborate with the management team to develop strategies for improving restaurant performance.

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within a restaurant setting. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, for efficient transaction processing. Strong supervisory experience with a focus on team management and leadership. Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to providing an outstanding dining experience. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the food industry. Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is essential; hotel or barista experience is a plus. Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with staff and customers.
