We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional service and a positive dining experience for our guests. This position requires strong leadership skills, a passion for the food industry, and the ability to manage a team effectively.

Duties

Assist in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and service. Supervise and train staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment. Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain smooth operations. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health standards. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during service. Support the hiring process by participating in interviews and onboarding new employees. Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager to develop strategies for improving service efficiency and customer satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, including dining areas, kitchen, and storage spaces.

Skills

Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within the food industry. Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead staff effectively. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations. Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems for order processing and inventory management. Excellent leadership qualities with strong communication skills. Experience in bartending is a plus but not required. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for delivering outstanding customer service and creating memorable dining experiences.
