Duties:
Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of a restaurant, bar, banquet or other food or beverage service.
Maintain and organize inventory while coordinating orders with suppliers to ensure stock availability.
Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms.
Manage customer complaints.
Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance.
Train staff in job duties, safety procedures and company policy.
Resolve conflicts promptly and effectively, fostering a positive work environment and promoting teamwork.
Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other departments.
Develop or contribute to marketing plans to promote the establishment.
Monitor restaurant sales, develop, implement, and analyze budgets.
Craft innovative and appealing cocktail menus that cater to diverse tastes and enhance the overall dining experience.
Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
Develop and follow a budget to maximize restaurant profits.
Prepare production and other reports.
Recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions.
Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures.
Handle various tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in supervisory or similar role in a restaurant.
Must have own transportation & drive.
Available to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to meet business demands.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively lead a diverse team.
Knowledge of POS systems and bartending experience is a plus.
Excellent communication abilities for interacting with customers, staff, and suppliers.
Proficiency in financial management, including budgeting, cost control, and inventory management.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene standards.
Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and prioritize tasks accordingly.
Problem-solving skills to address issues as they arise and ensure smooth restaurant operations.
