Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations in our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a strong background in restaurant management. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food safety, staff performance, and customer satisfaction while maintaining a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

Manage daily restaurant operations, including staff supervision and training.

Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.

Oversee cash handling processes, including daily reconciliations and deposits.

Utilize POS systems effectively for order management and reporting.

Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

Conduct interviews and hire staff to build a strong team.

Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and quality standards.

Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.

Implement marketing strategies to increase restaurant visibility and patronage.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant environment.

Requirements

Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role.

Strong knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.

Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage guest relations effectively.

Familiarity with POS systems for efficient order processing.

Experience in cash handling procedures.

Ability to lead, motivate, and train staff in a fast-paced environment.

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Bartending experience is a plus but not required.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
