We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic team. Duties

Supervise and train staff to ensure adherence to food safety standards and proper food handling techniques. Oversee cash handling procedures and ensure accurate POS transactions using Micros POS systems. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly. Participate in the interviewing process for new hires, contributing to team management and development. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas to meet health regulations. Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager to implement strategies for improving service efficiency and guest satisfaction. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, hospitality, and leadership among staff.

Qualifications

Previous experience in restaurant management or a similar supervisory role is preferred. Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen experience within the food industry. Proficient in using POS systems, particularly POS, with cash handling experience. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in team management and training. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for food handling. Experience in interviewing candidates for various positions within the restaurant setting is a plus. A background in hospitality or hotel experience is advantageous.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
