As an Assistant Restaurant General Manager at Nando\'s in Calgary, you will be responsible for leading and managing restaurant operations with visible enthusiasm while ensuring it operates efficiently and profitably. You will play a vital role in developing the next generation of restaurant leaders by recruiting top talent, executing training programs, clearly defining expectations, and holding individuals accountable. You will also teach and consistently execute service standards so each customer has the Nando\'s experience. Your passion for customer service and your drive for results will make you an integral part of our team!

Responsibilities:

• Developing the next generation of restaurant leaders

• Recruiting and hiring top talent

• Executing training programs

• Clearly defining expectations

• Holding individuals accountable

• Leading and managing restaurant operations with visible enthusiasm while ensuring it operates efficiently and profitably

• Teaching and consistently executing service standards ensuring each customer has the Nando\xe2\x80\x99s experience

• Impacting service by being on the floor \xe2\x80\x93 especially during peak times

• Executing established plans for achieving sales goals, staying within budgets and maximizing profits

• Ensuring all company policies, legal requirements and Health & Safety, FoodSafe and/or ServeSafe standards are met

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience as a restaurant Supervisor is required

• A working knowledge of Health & Safety and Food Safety standards is preferred

• Certification in Health & Safety or Food Safety is preferred but not required

• A passion and energy for developing, supporting, motivating and inspiring your team

• Exceptional customer service skills

• Excellent communication skills

• Flexible, high energy, drive for results kind of person with a youthful optimism
