Position Overview

IA support:

Responsible for providing timely, relevant and accurate consolidated net worth, cash flow, investment holdings and performance data and metrics. Create and update reports as necessary and work with the Team to develop meaningful reports for the client's situation. Support the team in managing clients' investment accounts by carrying out administrative duties and preparing new account opening documents and facilitating trades and transfers.

TEP support:

Responsible for assisting the department with preparing, organizing, and reviewing wealth plans and performing various general office administrative duties.

Duties and Responsibilities



IA Support:



Excel, communication skills, strong task organization skills, and a get-it-done attitude Prepares and reviews detailed investment and financial reports. Investigate performance and financial variances by reconciling transactions, investigating variances and, where applicable, correct data. Increases productivity and data security by developing automated applications. Coordinating information requirements and backing up data. Designs and documents processes for scalability and efficiency. Establishes and enforces policies and procedures; and recommends actions to improve performance. Protects operations by keeping financial information confidential. Working effectively as a team by supporting other team members in achieving project/ business objectives. Supporting a positive work environment that promotes customer service, quality, innovation and teamwork. Prepare account documents, setup client accounts and execute transfers. Execute clients' payments, sponsorships and charitable donations. Main contact between Advisor and Richardson Wealth Operations team. Perform general administrative duties (e.g. client statements, memos, mailing). Support Advisor in managing client accounts and preparing client presentations. Coordinate client payments/transfers from investment accounts (e.g. Spousal loan payments, RRIF payments, Reg Account contributions, etc.).

TEP Support:



Assist in the preparation of wealth planning by gathering documentation, entering information in planning software, formatting, proofreading and final preparation of completed report. Perform calculations in Excel to maintain balance sheet and create charts and graphs. Maintain and update the Tax & Estate Planning website for requested services, educational updates and other site enhancements Maintain electronic and hard copy filing system Assist with data entry in Open-Source Ticket Request System Help create Excel templates for financial/ wealth plans Create spreadsheets for tracking purposes Analyze and interpret data effectively

Qualifications

Superior client relationship management skills Demonstrate a professional and friendly manner Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English Relevant experience in the financial sector and/or administrative experience Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Canadian Securities Course is a definite advantage. Demonstrates solid problem solving and analytical skills. The ability to multi-task and be a good team player.
