About the Role
You'll be an active part of day-to-day operations, stepping into both managerial and front-line duties when needed. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Management Team, including the General Manager, Pub Manager, and Events Manager.
Lead and motivate staff, fostering teamwork and clear communication.
Oversee health and safety compliance.
Supervise all food & beverage departments, with a focus on The Pub Bar & Grill and Banquets.
Assist with scheduling, operational plans, and event coordination.
Handle guest concerns with professionalism and efficiency.
Monitor service quality and implement improvements.
Maximize revenue through creative promotions and yield management.
Develop training programs to maintain and elevate service standards.
Enforce policies, procedures, and relevant BC liquor, lottery, and labour laws.
Step in during management absences and emergency situations.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years' experience in hospitality and supervisory roles.
Strong knowledge of food service standards and BC liquor laws.
Positive, hands-on attitude with excellent problem-solving skills.
Proven ability to lead and inspire a team.
BC Serving It Right Certification (required).
