Our team is dedicated to enhancing the well-being of northern communities, supporting reconciliation efforts, promoting economic opportunities, and fostering climate resilience and environmental stewardship. • Demonstrate a commitment to improving the communities you work in by respecting local knowledge, customs, and the culture of the people, particularly Indigenous communities.
• Continuously develop delegation skills and take on increasing responsibility for leading project deliverables.
• Gain knowledge of Colliersxe2x80x99 service lines and actively promote these services to support clients effectively.
• Learn the essentials of building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Provide project delivery support to assigned Project Managers (PMs) to ensure successful outcomes.
• Execute tasks in compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS) to maintain high standards of work.
• Build expertise in Assistant Project Manager responsibilities and deliverables.
• Support Indigenous communities in fostering economic growth through strategic land planning, land development, and business development initiatives.
• Assist and support various orders of government in emergency preparedness and recovery efforts after climate-related disasters.
• Collaborate with community leaders, stakeholders, funding partners, and design and construction professionals to plan and implement capital building and infrastructure projects.
• Engage with diverse client groups, including various orders of government, Indigenous groups, private enterprise, and NGOxe2x80x99s, across both public and private sectors.
• Travel to project sites and remote communities may be required on occasion.

Qualifications:

• Ideally 1-3 years of experience in project coordination, with exposure supporting project delivery in fields such as construction, engineering, abatement and remediation.
• A technical certification or diploma in Engineering or Construction (or an equivalent combination of academic and practical experience).
• Familiarity with codes, regulations, contracts, construction administration, and site inspections.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A client-focused approach with excellent customer service abilities.
• Experience in fostering long-term client relationships and collaborating with community governments and Indigenous groups.
• Interest in attaining a PMP certification would be a valuable asset.
