Assistant Project Manager

Job Description

We are looking for an assistant manager for our multi-family division who can follow large projects from planning through to delivery. A good candidate will enjoy computer work, some physical work in the shop, and visiting construction job sites to take measurements. Job requirements include:

- Being detail oriented. - You will manage multiple projects at a time, each in their own stage of development. You will be responsible for interpreting construction drawings to make door and hardware schedules, oversee procurement, create shop production schedules, and oversee shipping of each project.

- Comfortable with Software. - You will learn industry specific software to help with project management.

- Good communication. - You will be communicating with the customer, with architects, with our procurement team, our shop manager, and the construction team on site.

- Class 5 Driver's License. - You will occasionally enjoy a visit to various construction sites to take measurements.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $23.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
