Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking an organized and driven Assistant Project Manager to support the successful execution of wood-frame construction projects. This role works closely with Project Managers, site leadership, and subcontractors to ensure projects are coordinated, documented, and delivered efficiently.

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of framing construction, is detail-oriented, and is comfortable managing project information, schedules, and communication across multiple teams.

Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination & Documentation



Assist with the review, tracking, and distribution of common project management documents including RFIs, SIs, shop drawings, and revisions Maintain organized and up-to-date project documentation and records Support document control and ensure information is communicated clearly to all relevant parties

Subcontractor & Contract Support



Assist in reviewing subcontractor scopes, contracts, and related documentation Track subcontractor progress, compliance, and required documentation Support coordination between subcontractors and project operations

Schedule & Project Tracking



Assist with project schedule management and milestone tracking Support progress reporting, task tracking, and issue follow-up Help identify potential schedule or coordination risks and escalate as needed

Operations & Field Coordination



Work closely with Project Managers, site teams, and operations to support daily project needs Assist with coordination between office and field teams Participate in project meetings and follow-up on action items
Required Qualifications

Previous experience in construction or project coordination Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities across active projects High attention to detail and follow-through
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with wood-frame construction and framing knowledge Familiarity with common project management tools and platforms including: Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 OneDrive and SharePoint Procore Bluebeam Smartsheet Experience working with RFIs, SIs, drawings, and construction documentation
Work Location

Ability to work out of both our Surrey and Chilliwack offices as required is ideal.


Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
