The Department of Computer Science in the Faculty of Arts and Science invites applications for a full-time tenure-track appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor, commencing July 1, 2026, subject to final budgetary approval.


This internal competition is conducted under Article 33.5.7.10 of the Collective Agreement, where recruitment to the "Teaching and Service" stream is restricted to Members currently holding Sessional Extended appointments at the time of application in the Department of Computer Science.


You will hold a graduate degree and demonstrate a commitment to teaching and learning. Your duties will include teaching primarily 100- and 200-level computer science courses, coordinating multiple course and lab sections, and developing curriculum and course materials. Experience or ability to teach higher-level courses is an asset.
