Summary



We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Production Coordinator to support our production team. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring various aspects of production from project hand off through to final shipment.

The candidate will be assisting with Company purchase orders including data entry, follow-up and invoice reconciliation. He or she will maintain effective communication with vendors. This function collaborates closely with project coordination, sales and production. He or she will do various other tasks such as creating glass files and managing procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities



Job duties include but are not limited to:



Assist with scheduling and coordinating production activities. Create and maintain glass files for production documentation. Creating and processing purchase orders. Communicating and following up with vendors, Negotiating with vendors as needed. Help with tracking vendor performance. Arrange shipping for purchase orders. Help with inventory planning, Categorization & Counting and Making recommendations on stocking levels by analyzing items, demand, costs and vendors. Communicating with internal departments and Sales on vendor updates, item updates as needed. Lead and help resolve inventory related issues with representatives from other departments throughout the company. Researches and evaluates vendors to compare pricing and services. Ensures quality of procured items and address problems when they arise. Be willing to work in the office as needed to help the team with inventory related issues. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Our ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications



Strong communication skills both written and verbal. Work independently on assigned duties. Balance a variety of competing priorities while meeting deadlines. Must have an excellent computer skills including MS office (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Google sheets etc.). Work experience in a manufacturing environment would be an

ASSET.*
Must possess time management, attention to details, negotiating, and interpersonal skills.
