The Canadian Olympic Foundation (COF) is the philanthropic fundraising arm of the Canadian Olympic Committee (COC) with the joint purpose to transform Canada through the power of sport. The COF is the only official Foundation in Canada that raises funds to support athletes at all stages of their Olympic journey - from the spark of an Olympic dream to the moment they step on the podium and beyond their competition days.
Reporting to the Manager, Fund Development, the Assistant, Philanthropic Support is a dynamic, creative and strategic-thinking individual who provides administrative support across all areas of the Foundation. This individual helps draft personalized donor communications and supports with administrative activities such as internal briefing documents, research tasks and data entry and management across all platforms used by the Foundation team. The incumbent is organized, tenacious, takes pride in accuracy, and has a keen interest in the intersection of sport and philanthropy.
LOCATION
This position will be located in the COC office in Toronto, ON at 250 Yonge St. Suite 3000. We offer a hybrid work model that allows for up to two days of remote work each week.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND PRIORITIES
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Support the Fund Development team in preparing communications materials, including internal briefing notes, personalized donor correspondence, and other fundraising assets.
Assist with donor engagements and meetings, including consolidating meeting notes for the CRM.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date information across Asana, Tessitura (CRM), file storage, and other systems to ensure strong data integrity.
Assist in database management, including preparing mail and email lists
Support the COF's Fund Development team with prospect management and research, as required
Support the planning and execution of donor events
Assist in event execution as required
Other duties, as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS AND CRITICAL SKILLS
Impeccable attention to detail
Curiosity for finding information and basic research skills
An understanding of fundraising methods, CRA regulations, campaigns and fundraising best practices is an asset, but not required
A keen interest in gaining comprehensive fundraising experience
Self-starter with ability to work effectively individually and in a team
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Familiarity with the Olympic movement is an asset
TERM

This full-time position will start in January 2026 and end no later than April 24, 2026. We welcome qualified students to apply who are enrolled in a Canadian degree or diploma program in Business, Sport Management, Fundraising or relevant field, and who would count this towards a work placement opportunity.
COMPENSATION

The pay will be a weekly salary of $805 ($23/hour for a 35-hour work week) for a maximum of 16 weeks.
