We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Assistant Manager to support our team in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for retail management. This role involves overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Duties

Assist in the management of store operations to achieve sales targets and maintain high standards of customer service. Supervise and train staff, fostering a collaborative team environment. Handle recruiting processes, including interviewing and onboarding new employees. Oversee merchandising strategies to optimize product displays and pricing. Utilize POS systems for transactions and inventory management. Engage in purchasing decisions to ensure stock availability aligns with customer demand. Monitor cash handling procedures to maintain accuracy and security in financial transactions. Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote store initiatives and increase foot traffic. Maintain effective communication with team members and upper management regarding store performance and operational challenges. Back shop work, including, but not limited to: skate sharpening, skate repair, golf club repair (will train suitable candidate).

Skills

Proficiency in retail sales techniques and customer service excellence. Experience in supervising teams, with a focus on training & development of staff Exceptional organizational skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Effective time management abilities to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Skilled in use of tools, too and dye, power tools an asset. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, ensuring clear interactions with customers and team members alike. Pay: $36,000.00-$48,000.00 per year
