: As the Assistant Manager of our Trail Tire location in Edmonton, you will play a crucial role in overseeing day-to-day operations, managing staff, assisting customers, and ensuring the efficient delivery of tire-related services. Your primary responsibilities will include staff management, customer support, and tire inventory management. This position requires a strong focus on customer satisfaction, leadership skills, and tire industry knowledge.
Responsibilities:
Support the Store Manager in overseeing all aspects of the store's operations, ensuring efficient and smooth functioning
Supervise and train staff members, providing guidance and support to optimize their performance
Assist customers with tire-related inquiries, providing product recommendations, explaining services, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences
Assist in inventory management, including ordering and receiving tires, maintaining stock levels, and conducting regular stock audits
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as industry safety standards
Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork, open communication, and a strong customer-centric culture
Handle customer complaints and concerns, resolving issues in a timely and satisfactory manner
Maintain a clean and organized store appearance, ensuring visual merchandising standards are met
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant management role, preferably in the tire or automotive industry
Strong knowledge of tires, including different brands, sizes, and tire-related services
Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to effectively assist customers and resolve issues
Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on employee development and performance optimization
Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Proficient computer skills, including experience with inventory management systems and point-of-sale software
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with staff and customers
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy in inventory management and order fulfillment
