We are looking for an Assistant Manager to work alongside our Off Site Regional Manager at our store.
The function of the Assistant Store Manager is to support the Off-Site Regional Manager in the daily operations of a retail store. Your role is to supervise employees, work with customers and help carry out the directives of the manager and owner.
Operations
? Role models best practice customer experience in all transactions
? Supports the Leadership team with a strong commitment to world class customer service and ensures a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers.
? Ensures tasks get accomplished in a timely fashion and delegates when required.
? Communicates collectively with the Regional Manager regarding deliveries and formulates to develop an action plan for receiving OCS, Non OCS merchandise including accessories and Store supplies.
? Opens and closes the store. Assumes responsibility for the entire store and its operational requirements to ensure we are open for business during our posted hours.
? Role models and monitors adherence to receiving principles focusing on security of product and accurate receiving processes first and then sorting techniques.
? You will coordinate and oversee the planning, organizing and delegating of work among staff .
Customer Service
? Proactively engage customers with increased focus during peak traffic times
? Assists Regional Manager to ensure all product-related processes are implemented effectively
? Highlights new products, reinforces with staff the need to share new information, policy/process /regulation changes, new products, , recognizes staff for exceptional customer service and full engagement while on the floor during Daily Huddles or during Shifts
? Coaches and trains staff on Store Standards for Customer Service , while maintaining the AGCO regulatory expectations at all times.
? Ensures that exceptional customer service is provided beyond expectation.
? Ensures employees present proper image to the public in accordance with Uniform Policy and Dress Code Guidelines (i.e. clean appearance, approved uniform, name badge).
? Answers inquiries (ie. location of product, exchange/returns) and resolves customer complaints according to guidelines and store policies.
? Demonstrates product knowledge and familiarity with location of products throughout the store.
? Empower employees to ensure customer satisfaction and inspire and encourage employees to reach a high level of employee engagement and morale.
Marketing and Merchandising
? Spotlights new or exclusive products at daily huddles
? Ensures staff know about applicable to share with product updates to share with customers
? Recognizes Above and Beyond on floor staff performers. In the moment reinforcement.
? Creates and maintains proper displays to reflect stock levels and customer flow within the sales floor.
? Works with Regional Manager to ensure signage in the store reflects current programs, policies, and procedures.
Human Resources
? Assists in the hiring process for Cannabis Customer Service (recommendations to be sent to Regional Store Manager prior to any hiring).
? Ensures staff are properly trained in all aspects of their role and provides on-going coaching and instructions.
? Assists Regional Manager in ongoing employee performance management and development, including performance reviews and progressive discipline if required.
? Complies with employment legislation.
? Ensures employees comply with all policies and procedures AGCO, OCS and Buds4Less Cannabis Co. inclusively.
? Carries out Supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Company's policies and applicable laws, including: interviewing, hiring & training, planning, assigning and directing work; measuring and evaluating performance; rewarding and disciplining internal staff and ; addressing complaints, de-escalates and resolves internal staff and customer problems.
Finance
? Assists in achieving projected sales growth targets.
? Assists in effective expense management.
?Assists in meeting financial plans as set by the Company.
? Controls Company assets and financial efficiency by physical inventory process adherence, POS audits and procedural reviews to ensure system integrity.
? Monitors and controls cash management; controls store float and cash tills and other monetary components of the store.
? Ability to analyze customer and business analytics to drive customer service and operating metric goals.
General
? Complies with all health and safety regulations this includes maintaining a clean, organized and safe environment, building facility and all equipment and controls safety in the store.
? Complies with all store policies and procedures. Plays an active role in implementing best practices with all staff.
? Complies with loss prevention policies and procedures and ensures they are executed in the store.
? Ensures Store Standards are followed.
? Maintains confidentiality in all matters pertaining to the Buds4Less business and its operations.
? Perform other duties as assigned.
Management/Supervision/Leadership
? Provides direction under the guidance of Regional Manager.
? Continuous use and understanding of servant leadership and team concept of management.
? Conduct regular audits to ensure the store is functionable and presentable.
? Make sure all employees adhere to company's policies and guidelines.
? Act as our store's representative and set an example for our staff.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37 - 40 per week
