Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of the store while ensuring exceptional customer service and efficient management of staff. This position requires strong leadership skills, effective communication, and a passion for retail management. The Assistant Manager will work closely with the Store Manager to drive sales, manage inventory, and develop team members.

Responsibilities



Assist in overseeing daily store operations to ensure efficiency and productivity. Lead by example in providing outstanding customer service and fostering a positive shopping experience. Support recruitment efforts by participating in interviewing, employee orientation, and training & development programs. Manage inventory control processes, including ordering, stocking, and merchandising products effectively. Supervise staff performance, providing coaching and feedback to enhance team productivity. Handle payroll and bookkeeping tasks accurately to maintain financial integrity. Utilize retail math skills for pricing strategies and sales management. Implement marketing initiatives to promote store offerings and drive sales growth. Maintain compliance with company policies regarding cash handling, shift management, and administrative duties. Foster a collaborative team environment through effective communication and organizational skills.

Experience


Candidates should possess a solid background in retail management or assistant manager roles. Preferred qualifications include:

Proven experience in supervising teams and managing retail operations. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to handle customer inquiries effectively. Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures. Experience in inventory management and control within a retail setting. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for enhancing customer interactions. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently. Strong leadership qualities that inspire team members to achieve their best performance. Pay: $75,500.00-$85,517.13 per year

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
