Please note this role will work in a hybrid environment. The successful candidate will be working in the Brampton office with a mixture of on and off-site work based on the parameters for our operations to meet the needs of our donors, our staff and our communities. Currently, employees are expected to have an in-person presence for at least 40% of their work time. This requirement is subject to change, based on operational needs.

About the role
The work of an Assistant Manager, Quality Assurance is integral to Canadian Blood Services role as Canadas Lifeline. In this role, you will be responsible for management, execution and evaluation of established Quality Assurance activities, ensuring effective and efficient people and process management, in an environment which fully recognizes the benefits of operating in accordance with quality principles.
In addition, you have a thorough understanding of applicable Good Manufacturing Practices, as defined by Health Canada, and CSA Blood and Blood Component Standards, and in particular the theory and application of quality system elements to the manufacturing of blood components to ensure that the safety, identify, purity, potency, and accessibility requirements of all products and services offered by Canadian Blood Services are met.
