Job Posting - Assistant Manager
Reporting to the General Manager of National Training Rinks, the Assistant Manager is a member of the National Training Rinks Management Team and plays a key role in the execution of the rink's programming. The Assistant Manager has an important role in the day to day operations of the facility. This is an exciting opportunity for someone that enjoys taking on a multitude of roles and wants to expand their knowledge of the sport facility business.
Duties for the role include:
Lead and assist with the execution of our on-ice instructional programs, private lessons, camps and clinics.
Coordinate and convene our 3 on 3 Adult and Youth Leagues.
Day to day office work (taking registrations, updating website content, sales etc)
Facility Maintenance as needed. This includes operating the ice resurfacer and general facility cleaning/upkeep.
Qualifications:
Post-secondary education in Sport Management, Recreation or equivalent.
Minimum three years of experience coaching hockey and/or running skill development sessions.
Minimum five years of hockey playing experience, preferably at a high level (Junior, University, Professional).
First Aid and CPR required.
Vulnerable Sector Screening required.
Strong writing and computer skills.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Must be able to work evenings and weekends.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
