We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager to join our retail team. Responsibilities
Assist the Store Manager in daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
Supervise and motivate team members to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service
Manage merchandising efforts to ensure attractive product displays and optimal inventory levels
Handle POS transactions, cash handling, and bookkeeping with accuracy and integrity
Recruit, train, and develop staff through effective coaching and performance management
Oversee scheduling, payroll processing, and administrative tasks to ensure smooth store functioning
Implement marketing initiatives to attract new customers and retain existing clientele
Conduct pricing strategies and sales management to maximize profitability
Monitor store budget adherence and assist with purchasing decisions
Resolve customer complaints professionally, ensuring high levels of satisfaction
Support store management in achieving business goals through strategic planning and execution
Skills
Strong leadership abilities with supervising experience in retail management
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with phone etiquette proficiency
Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are highly desirable for diverse customer engagement
Proficiency in POS systems, cash handling, bookkeeping, and administrative processes
Skilled in negotiation, marketing, merchandising, pricing strategies, and sales management
Effective recruiting, interviewing, training & development expertise
