We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Store Manager in daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales performance. This position requires strong leadership skills, effective communication abilities, and a passion for retail. The Assistant Manager will assist in managing staff, inventory, and store presentation while fostering a positive shopping environment.

Responsibilities

Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations and achieving sales targets. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Support the training and development of new team members through effective onboarding and ongoing coaching. Manage cash handling procedures, including daily deposits and register reconciliation. Conduct interviews for potential hires and participate in the recruitment process. Maintain inventory levels by monitoring stock and placing orders as necessary. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while promoting a safe work environment. Utilize time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours. Collaborate with team members to create visually appealing merchandise displays that drive sales.

Requirements

Previous experience in retail sales or management is preferred. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively; multilingual abilities are a plus. Proven time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of cash handling procedures and retail operations is essential. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making capabilities. Familiarity with interviewing techniques to assist in hiring processes is advantageous.
