Les Assistants-Gerant de site / magasin sont responsables de contribuer a la reussite globale de l'etablissement par la satisfaction de la clientele, l'attrait des installations et les ventes.

Utiliser les competences de vente efficaces, louer des unites et vendre des produits aux clients. Cela inclut la vente et la promotion des meilleures options et valeur pour les clients. Tenir le Directeur regional au courant de tout probleme survenu au site / magasin assigne, y compris, mais sans s'y limiter, l'entretien, la securite, les prix, les clients, le personnel, etc.

Qualifications



Diplome d'etudes secondaires et au moins ou equivalent 1 an d'experience pertinente (y compris, mais sans s'y limiter, l'hospitalite, la vente au detail, les ventes, les restos rapides, le service a la clientele). Un DEC ou 2 annees de college peut etre substitue a l'exigence d'experience.



Langage



Doit pouvoir lire et ecrire en anglais (ou en francais pour la province du Quebec). Doit etre capable de communiquer efficacement, verbalement et par ecrit.



Competences informatiques



Doit etre capable de naviguer sur un ordinateur avec facilite. Une connaissance des logiciels de tableur (par exemple Excel) et des logiciels de traitement de texte (par exemple Word) en plus des bases de donnees est une exigence. Connaissance de la terminologie informatique de base requise (par exemple, souris, onglet, feuille de calcul, champ, etc.)



Travail / Voyage de disponibilite



Doit pouvoir se rendre au travail et en revenir de facon fiable. Peut etre tenu d'avoir acces a un vehicule pendant les heures de travail. Si vous devez conduire pendant la journee, vous devez avoir un permis de conduire validite, une assurance valide et un dossier de conduite acceptable. Doit etre dispose a travailler tous les jours de la semaine (du lundi au dimanche) ainsi que les jours feries. Se deplacer entre les emplacements/travailler a divers endroits selon les besoins de l'entreprise

Exigences physiques



Doit etre capable de travailler a l'interieur et a l'exterieur, a des temperatures extremes. Doit etre capable de marcher, se tenir debout, se baisser, s'agenouiller, s'accroupir et monter des escaliers ainsi qu'une echelle de 10 pieds et marcher / se tenir debout jusqu'a 3 heures / jour (environ 1/3 du quart de travail normal). Doit etre desireux et capable d'effectuer un nettoyage leger tel que balayer, essuyer, essuyer les fenetres, tondre l'herbe, pelleter la neige, arracher des mauvaises herbe, etc. Doit etre capable de soulever, porter, pousser, tirer ou deplacer jusqu'a 50 lb. et avoir la force de manipuler couramment un coupe-boulon, une meuleuse et une laveuse a pression.

Summary

Assistant Site/Store Managers are responsible for assisting with the overall success of the facility through customer satisfaction, facility appeal, and sales.

Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to)

Using effective sales skills, lease units and sell products to customers. This includes up-selling and promoting best options and value for customers. Follow-up on leads, generated through on-line inquiries, phone calls, and walk-ins. Prepare leases and other documents in accordance with company policy and procedures. Provide superior customer service through courtesy, professionalism, knowledge of StorageMart products, and familiarity with options available to customers and prospective customers. Collect all monies due to the company; follow-up on delinquencies. This includes collection calls. Apply discounts and fees in accordance with company policy and procedures. Helps to ensure overall appearance of the site/store by conducting regular walk-throughs, identifying items in need of maintenance and repair. Provide basic maintenance such as sweeping, snow removal, light bulb replacement, trash pick-up, etc. using tools such as brooms, shovels, leaf blowers, etc. Stay current on training, processes, procedures, and policies. Keep Regional Manager informed of any issues at assigned site/store including but not limited to maintenance, safety, pricing, customers, staff, etc.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of relevant experience (including but not limited to hospitality, retail, sales, casual dining, customer service). An associate's degree or 2 years of college may be substituted for the experience requirement.

Language Ability

Must be able to read and write in English (or French for Quebec province). Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Computer Skills

Must be able to navigate a computer with ease. Familiarity with spreadsheet software (e.g. Excel) and word processing software (e.g. Word) in addition to databases is a requirement. Knowledge of basic computer terminology is required (e.g. mouse, tab, worksheet, field, etc.)

Work/Travel Availability

Must be able to get to and from work reliably. May be required to have access to a fully licensed vehicle during work hours. If required to drive during the day, must have a current, valid driver's license, current applicable insurance, and an acceptable driving record. Must be willing to work any day of the week (Mondays to Sundays) as well as holidays. Travel between locations/work various locations as the business requires

Physical Requirements

Must be able to work inside and outside, in temperature extremes. Must be able to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch and climb stairs as well as a 10-foot ladder and be walking/standing for up to 3 hours/day (approximately 1/3 of normal working shift). Must be willing and able to perform light cleaning such as sweeping, mopping, wiping windows, mowing grass, shoveling snow, pulling weeds, etc. * Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull or move up to 50 lbs. and have the strength to routinely handle a bolt cutter, grinder and power washer.
