Job Overview

KF Homestead Agriculture, a division of KF Kambeitz Farms, operates a large-scale fertilizer storage facility with high capacity transload conveyors and a state-of-the-art blending system. KF Homestead is looking to hire a full-time, permanent Assistant Manager to assist in the day-to-day operations of the Fertilizer Terminal.

Daily tasks include maintaining inventory, answering phones, monitoring and operating terminal equipment to load and unload fertilizer products from trucks and railcars, perform housekeeping/maintenance duties, and assist the operations manager in their duties, all well complying with all safety standards. Work hours will include overtime as required throughout the spring busy season.

Experience in wheel loader or relevant heavy equipment operation is a requirement; only those with experience need apply.

Qualifications:

Grade 12 Diploma 3 - 5 years of relevant experience (3+ years working with mobile equipment) Experience with Excel Valid Class 5 Drivers License Strong communication skills Work independently and within a team Experience in agriculture and/or a fertilizer handling facility
Preference will be given to those with mechanical aptitude of terminal maintenance and repair, knowledge of fertilizer products, mobile equipment certifications, and first aid training.

You may be required to undergo a background and substance test in accordance with KF Homestead Agricultures policies and procedures.
