We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team. Duties

Assist in overseeing daily store operations and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures. Supervise and train staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional development. Manage inventory control, including ordering, stocking, and merchandising products to optimize sales. Handle cashiering duties, ensuring accurate cash handling and adherence to financial protocols. Engage in recruiting, interviewing, and employee orientation processes to build a strong team. Implement effective sales strategies and marketing initiatives to increase store traffic and revenue. Maintain high standards of customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Conduct regular assessments of store performance metrics, including retail math calculations for budgeting purposes. Collaborate with the management team on pricing strategies, promotions, and inventory management practices. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the store environment.

Experience

Proven experience in retail management or as an Assistant Manager is essential. Strong background in customer service with excellent communication skills. Familiarity with POS systems, payroll processes, bookkeeping practices, and administrative tasks. Experience in training & development of staff members to enhance their skills and performance. Multilingual or bilingual skills are a plus for effective communication with diverse customers. Proficient in time management, organizational skills, and leadership abilities to manage shifts effectively. Knowledge of grocery store operations or wireless sales is an advantage.
