Job Summary

As a Shelby's Assistant Manager, you will work closely with the Manager and ownership team to ensure every shift delivers Legendary Shawarma, exceptional guest experiences, and a clean, high-energy restaurant environment. You'll lead by example, support the team, and help bring the Shelby's Legendary Shawarma to life every day.

Responsibilities and Duties

In addition to all Full-Time Associate responsibilities, the Assistant Manager is responsible for:

Assisting the Manager

in overseeing daily restaurant operations and ensuring smooth, successful shifts Leading by example to deliver Legendary Shawarma, outstanding guest service, and a positive team culture Supporting, coaching, and motivating team members to perform at their best Ensuring Shelby's standards are consistently met for food quality, cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety Assisting with scheduling, shift execution, and team coverage Handling cash management duties and ensuring accurate cash flow Supporting training and development of associates to uphold Shelby's service and quality expectations Resolving guest concerns professionally and turning feedback into Legendary experiences Stepping in to lead the restaurant in the Manager's absence when required
