We are currently seeking a driven, detail-focused, and people-first Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to help lead our dynamic operations. In this role, you will be a key leader on the floor, setting the stage each day to ensure our service environment is polished, efficient, and welcoming for both members and staff.

Key Responsibilities



Assist in managing daily operations of the dining room, lounge, food outlets, and member events Supervise, train, and support service staff, ensuring high standards of service and professionalism Set the stage for exceptional service by preparing the floor, guiding the team, and ensuring all areas meet Royal Glenora standards before service begins Maintain a strong floor presence and engage with members to ensure satisfaction Collaborate with kitchen, bar, and event teams for seamless service delivery Address member inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally Assist with scheduling, inventory, ordering, and cost control Support planning and execution of club functions, private events, and seasonal offerings Uphold and enforce club policies, safety procedures, and grooming standards

Qualifications



Must have 2+ years of supervisory experience in food & beverage, hospitality, or private club environments Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills Proven ability to lead by example and motivate a team Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to outstanding service Experience with POS systems, inventory management, and event coordination Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays ProServe / alcohol service certification (as required) Successful completion of a background check
