Overview


We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the store management team and ensuring operational excellence. This position requires strong leadership skills, exceptional customer service abilities, and a passion for driving sales. As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and enhancing the overall customer experience.

Key Responsibilities



Drive Sales and Growth



Execute local store marketing strategies to increase foot traffic and boost average check size Upskill team members on suggestive selling and menu knowledge to maximize sales per transaction Analyze and act on real-time sales and labor metrics to drive profitability during your shift

Operational Excellence



Lead and manage day-to-day shift operations with efficiency and attention to detail Ensure all food safety, cleanliness, and quality control standards are followed Manage inventory during shift, minimize waste, and optimize prep and cook times

Team Leadership & Culture



Motivate, coach, and develop front-line team members to deliver consistent performance Foster a positive team environment where accountability and collaboration thrive Provide real-time feedback, recognize excellence, and resolve conflicts swiftly

Performance and Metrics



Monitor shift KPIs (speed of service, drive-thru time, order accuracy, labor costs, etc.) and implement corrective actions as needed Utilize restaurant tools and technology to track performance, trends, and customer feedback Ensure compliance with Popeyes operational standards and company policies

Experience



Previous experience in retail or store management is preferred. Proven ability to sell products effectively while providing excellent customer service. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Experience in administrative tasks such as scheduling, reporting, and inventory control. Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience in team management. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as it enhances communication with diverse customers.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 35 per week
