:
As the Assistant Manager you'll be the Manager's go-to person, helping them oversee all aspects of the facilities operations. You'll handle duties such as managing staff, ensuring an outstanding guest experience, and overseeing day-to-day operations. From coordinating with different organizations/community partners to handling guest concerns and administrative tasks, your job is to keep the facility running like a well-oiled machine while also making sure guests feel welcomed and satisfied.
Responsibilities
:
Assist the manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the facility;
Managing front desk, security and kitchen staff;
Providing advocacy and community referrals of service;
Providing appropriate crisis interventions and de-escalation techniques;
Managing client records, files, and reports, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality;
Contribute to training and development of staff;
Quality control of all aspects including hygiene and health and safety;
Communicate move-out dates and establish move-out plans that oversee and support in their transition.
Qualifications/Skills
:
Education in social work, psychology or related human services field is preferred.
At least 1 year of direct services experience working with high risk populations and/or special needs populations that are culturally diverse is preferred.
Kitchen experience is an asset.
Criminal record & vulnerable sector check required for this position.
Compensation is dependent on qualifications and experience.

Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
