Key Responsibilities of a First-Line Manager in Food & Beverage:
Supervising Staff
- Oversee employees, delegate tasks, and ensure quality service.
Customer Service Management
- Handle customer complaints, ensure satisfaction, and maintain service standards.
Training & Coaching
- Train new hires, provide feedback, and ensure compliance with company policies.
Daily Operations Oversight
- Monitor workflow, manage shift schedules, and oversee opening/closing duties.
Inventory & Supplies
- Track stock levels, place orders, and prevent shortages.
Health & Safety Compliance
- Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and adherence to health regulations.
Reporting to Upper Management
- Communicate updates, sales reports, and operational issues to higher-ups.
