Job Description

The primary duty of the Assistant Manager is to work with and assist the General Manager in daily operations of the restaurant. You will be responsible with helping maintain the fine dining experience and service our guests know and expect. Wellingtons has been a successful fine dining steakhouse in south Calgary for over 45 years and we need s strong leader to join our team!

Compensation

Compensation is negotiable based on knowledge and experience.

Salary- Starting at $42,000 per year, free parking, free/discounted meals.

What we require:

Minimum 5 years Hospitality experience Minimum 3 years Management experience Evenings, weekends, and holiday availability (we are open 4-10 pm 7 days a week) Proserve, first aid certificate, and wine knowledge Cash management, and daily reconciliation of floats and cash outs Strong leadership and training skills Basic knowledge in Microsoft and POS systems Effective communication skills Punctual and organized Professional appearance Team orientated and motivated
