who can support daily operations and lead creative marketing initiatives.

Role Overview

We are hiring an

Operations & Marketing Assistant Manager

to support daily operations and help grow our bookings through marketing and community outreach. This is an

entry-level position

, ideal for recent graduates who enjoy social media, events, and working in a lively environment. The ideal candidate will manage campaigns, track performance, and leverage connections to bring new customers to Red Karaoke.

No prior management experience is required full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

Operations & Bar Support

Help ensure smooth nightly operations in our private rooms and bar area Assist with guest check-ins, room readiness, and customer service Support basic bartending tasks, including pouring drinks, preparing simple cocktails and shots. Help keep the bar area organized, stocked, and clean Support simple inventory tasks and nightly closing procedures Learn and follow basic licensing and compliance rules (training provided) Be a friendly on-site point of contact for guests and group bookings
Bookings & Community Outreach

Respond to booking inquiries and group reservation requests Help coordinate birthday parties, student nights, and special events Build relationships with student groups, local communities, and businesses Encourage repeat bookings through great service and communication
Marketing & Digital Promotion

Create content for Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook Assist with promotions for themed nights, DJ events, and specials Help update the website and improve online visibility Use tools like Google Analytics and basic reports to understand performance (training provided) Capture photos and short videos during events for marketing use

Qualifications

Strong communication and people skills Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable in a nightlife environment Interest in marketing, events, hospitality, or social media Organized, proactive, and willing to learn Must be

19+

Must have completed a post-secondary program within 1 year of their first day of work

Serve Right - Manager certification (or willingness to complete after hiring)

(This is a simple online course required for working in a licensed venue in a supervisory capacity.)*
Bartending or service experience is an asset, but

not required

training on basic cocktails and bar service will be provided

Work Schedule

Typical hours include:

Mon, Wed, Thu:

6 PM - 12 AM

Fri & Sun:

6 PM - 1 AM

Saturday:

5 PM - 1 AM
