Description:

Under the supervision of the Plant & Packaging Manager, you will assist in and undertake independently a wide variety of plant repair & maintenance tasks on industrial equipment in a production environment. You will continually utilize your hands-on machine operation, repair and maintenance experience, and relevant electrical & mechanical training and/or education.

Responsibilities:

Include (but not limited to):

Working under the supervision of the Plant & Packaging Manager, provide immediate preventive and corrective maintenance support to production lines, including equipment common to the trade such as specific beer packaging and brewing equipment. Specific equipment includes can filler, bottle labeler, palletizer and depalletizer, can packer, printers, wastewater system, centrifuge, centrifugal pumps, motors & conveyors.

Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions.

Follow plant safety, housekeeping, and food-production quality standards.

Support and participate in continuous improvement and projects.

Assist with outdoor maintenance tasks as needed.

Assist with emergency repairs as needed.

General Skills

Familiarity with operating a variety of hand and power tools & systems.

Ability to perform minor repairs.

Motivated individual with a versatile skill set and a commitment to quality work

Outstanding work ethic with exceptional discipline, attendance, and safety record
