ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Are you a skilled maintenance professional looking for a hands-on opportunity? We\'re seeking an Assistant Maintenance Manager to manage, a 21-acre rental property featuring 23 garden units and 4 towers totaling 600 units. As the Assistant Maintenance Manager, you\'ll work closely with the Maintenance Manager to ensure the smooth operation of mechanical systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and more.

ABOUT THE POSITION

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will support all hands-on related maintenance duties. You will ideally work Wednesday to Sunday 8am to 4:30pm, but a schedule of either Tuesday to Saturday or Sunday to Thursday would work too. Your duties include but are not limited to:

  • Inspect and maintain major building systems, equipment, and pools.
  • Perform preventative maintenance according to schedules.
  • Collaborate with in-house teams and service providers for repairs and maintenance.
  • Test and maintain boiler and fire preventative systems.
  • Prioritize and resolve tenant work orders promptly.
  • Oversee maintenance department operations.
  • Contribute to safety programs and maintain accurate records.
THE REQUIREMENTS
  • 4th Class Power Engineering Certificate.
  • 3-4 years of experience in building maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, DDC, Plumbing, and Electrical systems.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Capacity to work on elevated platforms, climb ladders, and lift 50lbs.
  • Resourcefulness, proactiveness, and deadline-driven mindset.
COMPENSATION
  • $80,000 \xe2\x80\x93 90,000 per annum
