About the School of Library and Information Studies (SLIS)
The School of Library and Information Studies (SLIS) offers the Master of Library and Information Studies (MLIS), a professional graduate degree accredited by the American Library Association (ALA), in both on-campus and online delivery modes. It also offers a joint MA/MLIS and a combined MBA/MLIS. SLIS is an administrative unit within the Faculty of Education and has the only MLIS program in the Prairie Provinces and the only fully online, accredited graduate program in LIS in Canada. The School is committed to Reconciliation with Indigenous communities, including Indigenous students and instructors.

Position Summary
This part-time, term-specific appointment is for teaching a course in the ALA-accredited Master of Library & Information Studies (MLIS) program during the Spring/Summer 2026 term (May 5 to August 17, 2026). The course is offered asynchronously online.
We invite applications from qualified candidates for a part-time, term-specific teaching appointment for the following course offered in the Spring/Summer 2026 semester. Candidates from equity-denied groups are encouraged to apply. We especially encourage applicants with professional experience in Indigenous, health, business, legal, and government Records Information Management (RIM) contexts to apply.
