Pistol and Paris, a leading premium cannabis brand in Canada, is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Assistant Labeling Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all our product labels are accurately printed in compliance with Health Canada regulations. Your expertise will play a crucial role in maintaining our commitment to quality and compliance as we continue to grow and innovate in the cannabis industry.

Responsibilities:

Design and print Health Canada-compliant labels to all products.

Ensure labels meet regulatory standards, including required health and safety information, product details, and warnings. Work closely with the production and compliance teams to ensure accurate and timely label application. Maintain and troubleshoot printing equipment, ensuring high-quality output. Monitor and update labeling processes in line with changes in Health Canada regulations. Ensure accurate inventory and documentation of labels for audit and regulatory purposes. Collaborate with internal teams to support new product launches and packaging updates.

Requirements:

This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced retail environment.

Proven experience in Health Canada cannabis labeling and regulatory compliance. Strong understanding of Health Canada's cannabis labeling requirements. Experience with high-quality label printing technologies and equipment. Tech-savvy with the ability to troubleshoot software and hardware used in the labeling process. Attention to detail with an ability to spot discrepancies and ensure consistency. Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.

Qualifications:

Knowledge of design software such as Adobe, Bartender, or similar. Experience in the cannabis industry or regulated industries. Familiarity with inventory and quality control systems. Bonus points for experience with Elevated Signals.
