We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee our culinary operations in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As the Kitchen Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing kitchen staff, ensuring efficient food preparation, and delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.
Responsibilities
Lead and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Oversee food preparation processes to ensure quality and consistency in all dishes.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen.
Manage inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as needed while minimizing waste.
Train new employees on kitchen operations, food safety practices, and proper use of equipment.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
Requirements
Proven experience in a kitchen management role within the restaurant or food industry.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with interviewing and hiring kitchen staff is required.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with both kitchen staff and front-of-house personnel.
